In High School, students will develop a Personal Learning Plan (PLP) that highlights their experiences, skills, interests, and educational and personal accomplishments. A student's PLP should not be limited to just school activities, but rather, highlight what makes the student who they are and showcase examples of their skills and accomplishments. The student PLP is an opportunity for a student to paint the full picture of who he or she is as a person, student, and future employee. This will mean highlighting important activities that allow them to demonstrate their learning, skills, and personality.
In order to complete this requirement, students will utilize the Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) throughout their 9th-12th grade years to enter important information that starts to create their personal Career Plan.
